We needed four days to get into the Spiti Valley: flight to Delhi, train to Chandigarh, bus to Manali and bus via the Rohtang La (3,979 m) and the Kunzum La (4,590 m) to Kaza. We visited the powerful Key Gompa and trekked from one mountain village to another (max. 4,800 m). The monastery in Dhankar was built stunning on a ridge. The last trekking went to Chandra Taal. We drove from Manali to Dharamshala and to Amritsar to a further highlight of the trip, the Golden Temple. We came back to Delhi by night train. Delhi was the end of a strenuous but wonderful journey with “Wikinger Reisen”.
