In October 2010 we traveled through Nepal and Bhutan. The trip was organized by ourself with the help of Doma Lama, a woman from Bhutan, who operates the guest house “Haus Namaste” in Kathmandu. First we spent two weeks in the Kathmandu Valley, participated in a monastery festival, explored Patan, Bhaktapur, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath. Then we flew along the Himalayas eastwards and past Mount Everest. Our stations in Bhutan were Paro, the Tiger’s Nest, Haa, Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Trongsa, Jakar, the Chokkor valley and Phobjika.
