“Die Wüste Gobi: Durch das Land ohne Wasser” by Bruno Baumann

The Gobi Desert is about four times larger than Germany and one of the largest deserts in the world, located in Mongolia and China. Hardly inhabited and misanthropic. but there are people, who have to see or even have to walk through the Gobi. One of them is Bruno Baumann, he walked through the Alashan, part of the Gobi desert, in 1994 with a team and alone in 2003. He reports about it in this book.
(As far as I know the book isn’t available in English.)
